I have found your Daily Celebrations to be one of the most uplifting on the web.
I will be launching Restoring Moments along with the Violet Heart sometime this fall and wanted to use some of your personal "moment(s)" quotations from your site.
Must be doing something right to be 10 years out from cancer! Whatever you have is the element I often wanted to find to pass on to other "survivors." All the best, Kirsti A. Dyer, MD, MS, Journey of Hearts
I am a big fan of Fulton J. Sheen. His Irish wit and wisdom will continue to inspire. I am under the assumption that this is not a "Catholic" website. This fact clearly demonstrates how Fulton Sheen transcended even religious barriers. In your description of him, there is only a little mistake. Fr. Fulton Sheen eventually became ArchBishop Fulton Sheen. As a result, he wore his Bishop's vestments and not "priestly" vestments as you described. ~ Jack
By knowing Pilahi Paki we got to know many wonderful Hawaiian people and songs. My wife and I can still sing Lei Aloha Lei Make Mai (though not very well) along with many other beautiful Hawaiian songs.
From another contact we learned a few days ago that Pilahi Paki passed away some time in the 1980s. Thanks again for taking time to answer a query from someone who loves Hawaii. ~ Louis
Today I discovered your website, looking for the famous inaugural speech of Mandela. This evening, after a day of hardship in a desertlike state of being (but so important and fruitbearing in the Process!) once again I went to the website, because it felt so positive, colourful, light in my memory. And I found all those quotations about "Courage". It meant so much to me to read them. All of them said to me: you are beautiful, go on the way you do, God loves you". So I want to thank you for the light, the colors, the inspiration you created by creating this beautiful website. Love, Cor.
