I am a big fan of Fulton J. Sheen. His Irish wit and wisdom will continue to inspire. I am under the assumption that this is not a "Catholic" website. This fact clearly demonstrates how Fulton Sheen transcended even religious barriers. In your description of him, there is only a little mistake. Fr. Fulton Sheen eventually became ArchBishop Fulton Sheen. As a result, he wore his Bishop's vestments and not "priestly" vestments as you described. ~ Jack

By knowing Pilahi Paki we got to know many wonderful Hawaiian people and songs. My wife and I can still sing Lei Aloha Lei Make Mai (though not very well) along with many other beautiful Hawaiian songs.

From another contact we learned a few days ago that Pilahi Paki passed away some time in the 1980s. Thanks again for taking time to answer a query from someone who loves Hawaii. ~ Louis

Today I discovered your website, looking for the famous inaugural speech of Mandela. This evening, after a day of hardship in a desertlike state of being (but so important and fruitbearing in the Process!) once again I went to the website, because it felt so positive, colourful, light in my memory. And I found all those quotations about "Courage". It meant so much to me to read them. All of them said to me: you are beautiful, go on the way you do, God loves you".
