July 30 ~ Breathe!
When your body, minsoul are healthy and harmonious, you will bring health and harmony to those around you and health and harmony to the world not by withdrawing from the world but by being a healthy living organ of the body of humanity.”

Hatha Yoga master Bellur Krishnamachar Sundararaja Iyengar (1918–2014) shared a path of breath, balance, and deep connection. Born in India, he taught that the union of body, mind, and soul begins with awareness of the breath.

“When you hold your breath, you hold the soul,” he said.

To breathe is to live. With each inhale, we are inspired—literally filled with spirit. The Greek word for inspiration, theopneutos, means “God-breathed.”

Author Deepak Chopra observed, “You will know your own innocence again when you can see the love that breathes within every iota of creation.”

Opera legend Leontyne Price called singing the most personal expression of art. She believed the breath of God moves through the human voice.

“I really do believe that I am in touch with something much higher than myself,” she said. “I am in the hands of God, who guides me far beyond any technical expertise I may have.”
