Ahh, Kayla, remember when...
Lance Bass, along with Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone, J.C. Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick ... put 'em all together and you have... NSYNC , the hot "boy group" that shook the hearts of young girls throughout the world.
The group formed in 1996 and their concerts featured audiences with ear-splitting screams and hands that "raised the roof." Onstage the boys were "dedicated to it," with flashy costumes, polished choreography, and a cappela singing.
Compared to The Backstreet Boys, both groups shared the same manager (Johnny Wright), hometown (Orlando, Florida), and label (Jive). Before joining the group, Justin and J.C. were hosts of the Mickey Mouse Club TV show. Joey and Chris worked as Hollywood Hi-Tone entertainers at the Universal Studios amusement park.
With their 1998 #1 hit, I Want You Back, the heartthrobs became international superstars, touring and singing to thousands. Their follow-up smash album No Strings Attached sold 2.5 million in its first week of release in March 2000.
In the years since their new-millenium explosion, the band members have branched out on their own, recording albums (Justin, JC), appearing on Broadway (Joey), and going to space camp (Lance). Fans, of course, wait for a reunion or another studio album. And since the guys remain friends, anything is possible...
Stay dedicated to your dreams.
