Widgets Passionate Colors Newsletter ~  #34 Feedback Best-Selling Books

The only journey of knowledge is from the depth of one being to the heart of another." ~ Norman Mailer

I received great feedback from my last newsletter on the evolution of Daily Celebrations. It is enlightening and gratifying to know that my website makes a difference to others.

I heard from readers around the globe. Cheryl in London is currently writing a book. "Your little note of today has reminded me of the importance of acknowledging the help we receive from others. I will be sure to record my appreciation to you and your site," she wrote.

"How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world." ~ Anne Frank

Mercedes, who counsels young teens in an inpatient substance abuse treatment program, finds Daily Celebrations to be helpful to her work, too. She said: "My kids benefit from your motivational quotes, as well--I use a lot of them to start out group sessions or to make cards for kids who are struggling."

Look at what a difference Mercedes is making in the world! How her hands and heart touch and help so many others daily. It made me realize how we are all connected. And each of us can make the world a better place by sharing ideas and keeping goodness in our hearts.

"A shepherd on a hilltop who looks at a mess of stars and thinks, 'There's a hunter, a plow, a fish,' is making mental connections that have real force in the universe as the very fires of those stars themselves." ~ Annie Dillard

It is a popular belief that anyone in the world can be connected to anyone else through a chain of six or less acquaintances, known as the Six Degrees of Separation. With the Internet, the world is getting smaller every day. We are a mouse click away from Washington D.C., Paris, Moscow, or Tokyo.

Strengthened by our human connections, we are richer when we reach out and share ideas and resources. Our balance and sparks, our passionate fires, burn with our interaction with others.

"Love what you do. Believe in your instincts. And you'd better be able to pick yourself up and brush yourself off every day. While life is not always fair, it is manageable. It is a matter of attitude and confidence." ~ Mario Andretti

Let's manage the tough days and celebrate the good ones.

Let's strive toward making every day a celebration. All it takes is attitude and confidence… And life's passionate colors.
