In recent years, my devotion to aerobic exercise has been replaced by a more sedentary devotion to this site. Consequently, a recent routine blood test revealed that my cholesterol's up. Not to worry.

Daily Celebrations

With a little bit of innovation and creativity, life changes CAN be done with great celebration. I've decided to dramatically reduce my fat intake and eliminate dairy from my diet. I'm relying on spices, herbs, and fresh vegetables to give me the high-flavor I crave. Here are just a few things a good diet will give you:

• More energy, Less fatigue,
• Better weight control,
• Better cholesterol levels,
• Better prevention of diseases, and
• Increased self-esteem

UN-SLUMPING

A grand companion to diet change is exercise. Exercise strengthens the heart and lungs… Every 30 seconds someone dies from heart disease in America and the majority of first heart attacks occurs between the ages of 40-50 for both men AND women.

Isn't that incentive enough to begin a wellness program?

I've begun walking and running. I think stretching is a heavenly balm to the body aches and increases flexibility. I'm investigating yoga because it sounds like something I'd like to try.
